Monday, December 24, 2007- At 13:51 Moosup Fire Department was dispatched for a tractor trailer rollover on the Exit 89 NB off ramp. Upon arrival units a found tractor trailer on it's side. The driver was transported by R-594 to Backus Hospital. Moosup units worked on scene with CSP, DEP, and DOT to contain diesel fuel leaking from saddle tanks and assist with traffic control. Heavy equipment was brought in to offload the trailer which was carrying tires and remove the vehicle. Moosup units cleared the scene at 19:00.
